Maryland Welcome Centers
Welcome Centers are positioned throughout the state on major highways. They are wonderful resources and provide various services including tourist and directional assistance, travel brochures, a respite from driving, rest rooms, and vending machines. Just outside of Prince George’s County, there are two Welcome Centers located off Interstate 95 (outside of Laurel, MD) between Baltimore and Washington. The Southbound site serves traffic heading towards Washington, DC and points south. The Northbound site serves traffic heading toward the Baltimore/Annapolis area and points north.
